The Cities for Climate Network activities are structured into four Working Groups – Energy, Buildings, Mobility and Carbon Removal – which are interconnected and interact with each other.

Energy Rehabilitation of Buildings.

Infrastructures, networks, technology and shift of mobility patterns.

Nature-based solutions for carbon removal.

Local production of renewable energy. Intelligent and multifunctional public lighting.

“The Working Groups collaboratively develop urban intervention projects, being their environmental, economic, and social impacts scientifically measured using urban-scale modelling tools. The Working Groups will deliver sectoral implementation and investment plans whose integration will be promoted by cross-cutting actions and projects. The Cities and regions designate their staff that participate in the Working Groups.

Working Groups Participants:

The decision to participate in the Working Groups is dynamic, and members of the Cities for Climate Network may in the future join a Working Group not indicated in the table.
